| The Big Blue hanggliding and paragliding club is founded in year 1991
in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia by three hanggliding pilots: Vladimir Barakovski,
Nikola Barakovski and Ivan Lukanov. Today the Big Blue is the only club which unites all active hangglider pilots in Macedonia. The Big Blue is a member of HG & PG association of Macedonia. R.Macedonia is a small mountain country in the middle of the Balkan peninsula. The city of Ohrid is placed in south-west part of the country, close to the Albanian border. This city found itself on the most beautiful lake in Europe - Ohrid lake on 700 m ASL surrounded with beautiful high mountain (see the gallery). On the East side of the lake lying mountain Galicica, where is the most popular flying site. |
